So went camping this weekend. Took the 720 on her first 4x4 adventure. She did surprisingly well. I was very impressed. So where my friends. Given she is no beauty queen I had no problem beating the holy Jesus out of her. And she took it like a champ. Here are some random pics I snapped along the way. They are in no peti ular order. We went up to the top of cultus mountain. Elevation i believe was 6500 ft above sea level. It was 30+ miles of 4x4 trails. We camped at the top. The white jeep is my buddies. And that dapper looking brown guy is myself. Enjoy. If u have questions feel free to ask. I don't feel like explaining every photo. Had a blast, nothing broke... Good trip
Yeah it was a blast if a trip. I'm going to look for some manual hubs next time I'm in the junkyard. The auto hubs are not cutting it. They just didnt want to lock up. And when they did they slammed super hard. I was concerned about braking it haha.
locking hubs ftw. Don't just put it in 4x4 mode and drive forwards, or peel out in the mud. put it in 4x4 before you need it. roll back 3 feet, then roll forward, they will click in... off ya go and they will stay locked in. To drop it out of 4x4, do the same only put it in 2H... Some say not needed, but really its how you do it. and you can hear them lock in/out.
Manual hubs are the shit and way better, though. Warn makes nice hubs for these but at a couple hundred bucks.

Yes they are. They have 60% tread I think he said. Asking price is 400 but I know he would take less for cash. He is trying to sell them on the double.
Nothing new to report really. Getting antsy to get a solid axle under the 720 and more lift :p I have to be patient tho. I have work to do on the 620 still and she is my project. This is supposed to be a reliable DD haha. Hopefully making a trip to the dunes in the next week or so. I will take pics if I do
