Re: Just another car I'll never finish.

Got it off the dollies and out of the garage. Gave it a pretty thorough wash included the wheel wells, all the drains, and door jambs. Got lots of dirt out of it. https://i.postimg.cc/59vPZG7x/20190121-125432.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/W4h8Sfqc/20190121-130915.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/RFtRx6TP/2019012...

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

Update time. The wall is pretty much built. There's obviously still landscaping to do and I'm also seriously considering painting it dirt color to hopefully soften it a bit. https://i.postimg.cc/6psZMxMX/20190120-165649.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/zD6Hf1Zg/20190120-165722.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/kGb4S...

Re: '36 Ford Pickup long deserved upgrades

That part has been kind of a pain. I misordered one joint and decided not to use another. The double joint is because that bend is just barely too tight for a single to articulate properly. Unfortunately a double joint will necessitate an additional support. I'm using wooden dowel for mockup.

Re: '36 Ford Pickup long deserved upgrades

We haven't been hitting this too hard the last couple weeks but progress is being made. The wiring appears to be done and I cleaned up a bunch of the routing I wasn't happy with before. The battery has been relocated under the seat. All the plumbing is connected except for the radiator. The fuel pum...

I'd throw my vote behind the Z20 for the extra torque.

Re: Just another car I'll never finish.

I 100% hear you. I feel that way about the 240Z I had. Very original car and worth quite a bit now. I thought I'd really miss my 1200 but surprisingly I don't. I'll probably miss this one on occasion but I'd really rather free up the cash and space to finish my '35. I'm sitting on 7 cars and 4 motor...

Re: Just another car I'll never finish.

Thanks, guys. As my projects usually go, I get them usable then use them for years and they never get finished. Then a do a bunch of work right before I sell them. It's stupid.

And has those wide hips. It's still probably smaller than the average Silverado -- just big by Datsun standards.

That looks like it'd be a challenge in a tight parking lot.
