I see your post, and i have the similiar problem.
I bought an A14 Head to put on my A12 Engine (The distribuitor is on front)
so you drill a hole oil in A14 head to lubricate the springs valves and arms You mark the hole with the gastet, please explain me all the process.

Recently i bought a twin Mikuni 40PHH for my Datsun 1200 Left Hand Drive, I dont know if somebody put on it your Datsun 1200, The problem is the space. To complicat a i have a brake servo booster. May i wiil remove it

At the momment i did not take the measures because i ve taken the engine ...

Anybody knows the official measures for Datsun 1200 front chassis offset.

According with some opinions whells 13*6


OFFSETS from +8mm to 18mm fits Datsun 1200 with no problem but i want choose +18mm without problems. (i ve cutted a litle the height caliper)

I take the measures chassis offset of my Datsun 1200 2 Dr sedan, and i have:
face measure 60mm
back measure: 109mm

with this measurements i can use 13*6 whells 175/60 tyres offset +23mm

6"=152.40
centerline 152.40/2= 76.20
76.20+23=99.20
76.20-23=53.20



face measure 60-53.20=6.80 ...

I ve two set of 12" whells:

The original one 12*4 (Tyres 155/70)
The alloy whells 12 175/70 tyres (this whells touch the brake caliper that i ve cut it)





im From Portugal city of Lisbon, you are correct the stock whells have 12*4 +30, i dont measure the backspace but i ill and must be 3 ...

i will looking for my brake caliper..


13*6 +8 its your and the brake caliper touch the whell

13*6 +10 will touch the whell more

13*6 6 dont touch the whell or touch a liltle bit

Im reason?

Thank you for your reply, i ve expecting from you an answer because people of this forum told me that you know best.
According with you 13*6 +8 offset fits with used pads.

And if i cut a piece of outside caliper with a grind, so the outside ...

Please let me know if they fit i will buy them

i will see on ebay 240z and 260z whells.

I wil see minilite whells too. 13", 14" and 15" wide 6 or 6.5 inches.

I saw 14" whells with 15mm offset

I dont know if they fit
