510 floors tend to rust from the inside out. The outside may not be a good indicator of condition.

Re: Lifting a B310

That thing is seriously lifted. What all did you end up doing? Someone had spacers in the springs on my wives b210 on the front, then longer shackles on the back. It's important to note a 1200 is fairly tall stock. Taller than almost any other Datsun. Front is sort of a 2" body lift. We...

FWIW, the 1200 carb with the 210 jets in it is a great carb for an A14/A15.

A lot simpler than the 210 carb and almost indestructible.

Re: A14 SU Carbs.

Aren't those a little big for an A? The factory only used them on the 2.0L and 2.4L.

Heard 510 guys say they work well on an L20b, but not anything smaller...

Re: The new 1200 acquisition

I've been working on this thing for 3 years now, I'm kind of at the point I just want to drive it.
I know exactly how you feel... :D

Re: Smaller. Better. Slower. Lower..gaver

how much, and from where? ... is it a tube bender or a pipe bender? It's a tubing bender, from Speedway, 1.75" mandrel, $399 shipped. It has pretty good reviews, and you can order it with almost any size pipe mandrel you need. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/3rd-Gen-Hydraulic-Round-Tubing-Bender...
