for $200.00 that will pay for it's self in no time, nice score. Now to break it to dad where he wants to install it at his place. wink wink

Hope so. See how it runs once I get it home.

We used my friends Isuzu to pull the fallen tree out of my yard. That diesel power sent to dually wheels, and the weight of the thing, pulled that tree (in sections) up at almost part throttle.

Those things are absolute beasts.

Update time. The wall is pretty much built. There's obviously still landscaping to do and I'm also seriously considering painting it dirt color to hopefully soften it a bit.

I got a little restless yesterday and cleaned up in the basement some. It's still kind of a mess but better organized at least.

After:

I repurposed an unused armoire to put some power tools in one centralized place. I have future plans for this, you'll be seeing it again later.
Image
I also Tetrised a couple unused bedroom sets into a corner. The white set was my daughter's and really just needs to be cleaned up and sold. The oak set might just live there forever.
Image

I'm hoping to start some framing, insulation, and sheetrock down there soon. We'll see.
I really miss having a shop.

I finally fired up the new/old table saw and started carving up some additional closet shelving because...wife shoes.

That dinosaur did a pretty good job but I need to grind a weld down on my fence so it doesn't try to cock the material part way through a cut. It's technically supposed to run 8" blades but I've got a 10" in there and the motor seems to have plenty of power to spin it.

This morning my builder brought by my 4th front door. Yes, I said 4th. Each one different from the previous.

Isn’t it supposed to have a little shelf on it or am I remembering the wrong one?

Next 3 days forecast rain and possible snow on Monday so I spent the day working to clean up the yard and pasture area down where the old house was. Mostly burned stuff and fought with the BroHauler. It would start but only run at idle for a while and die if I gave it any throttle. Finally it popped back through the carb once and started running great. So I hitched my dad's trailer to it and rounded up a few loads of tumble weeds to burn.

Still a ton of work to do. The wind started to kick up a bit and I just kind of ran out of steam so I ran the trailer back to my dad and took the Indian for a little ride.
We'll see if I get anything accomplished during the rainy days.

I know I've asked before...what town do you live in?

Just south of Boise, isn't it?

I'm taking a trip, 2nd week of February, through I84.
Start in Meridian. End in Idaho Falls.

I'll PM ya when I get closer to the trip.

We're doing a week of Fred Meyer's stores on a messed up schedule.

Monday, 11PM. Tues 4AM. Tues 11PM. We'd 4AM.
It carries on like that until I end my week in Idaho Falls.

Per diem daily along with nighttime bonus each day.

The slack jaw my company is sending along to help me is coming from Salem.
I'm making him take his own car that whole way.
He's getting 0.545 cents a mile.

He should be getting .58 now. That was my big raise this year. Slack jaw shouldn't be complaining, mileage is half my income. That turn and burn to Moses Lake last week paid pretty well and the difference between .545 and .58 worked out to be a free tank of gas.

Give me a heads up when you get closer and maybe we'll grab lunch or something.
