And no I won't be going lower in the front or back, I'll be getting drop spindles and raising the torsion bars back up, so I'll be as low as I am now but I'll have drop spindles and tighten my t bars back up to get some suspension back.

I use whatever I have around here or what I can buy for cheap at the metal surplus yard over on Columbia blvd in Portland, you can buy what you need for the cross member over there and some plate material, likely for less than 50 dollars(they have a 25 dollar minimum).
But you will have to find someone to do the welding, I am not good enough to be welding on other peoples frames.

Do you have anything around that you'd wanna sell me to put on top of my frame before I cut it out for a notch?

Anything like that would have to be made from scratch, it's a tough one if you don't want to cut clearance holes in your box.

I really wouldn't mind cutting holes in my bed like you had to, if I do a notch it'll probably be just like yours, seems like the most simple way to accomplish what I need.

I did a big notch Justin, I had plans to go really low and still have a functioning suspension that didn't drag using the stock rims.
Even though I have lots of travel I will still bottom out if I were to hit a big bump or hole, I may have 6 inches of travel all around, but I only have 2 1/4 inches of clearance in the front(lower control arm), and 3 1/2 inches in the back, to go lower in the back I would have to have the 4X4 leafs de-arched).
What is your clearance at the front leaf mounts right now?

About two inches.
Do you think I would need to add to the top of the frame like you did if all I wanna do is take out an inch and a half of a notch from the bottom of the frame rail? I just want enough clearance to bolt a bump stop in there

Jrock did a small notch on his Mazda and he says it's just fine, the notch was about half the frame, it's all in his thread on McRatsun, and I assume he hauls stuff, but I personally would never do a notch like that because I would inevitably bend the frame, I don't know how, but I would screw it up somehow.
How would you do the bump stop, on the side of the frame?
I am sure that if you found someone that was a real good welder, an inch and a half notch would be doable without bracing.

So my friend calls me and said "hey I found you something at pick n pull can I stop by?" I said sure. I go outside and he found me a factory tach! Said there was no clock in it though.. Oh well, factory tachs are great, and good friends are the best!

I have it all installed and wires and it works, I just have part of my cluster off still.

You'll need the resistor that is in the engine bay by the headlights.

Are you driving it? Or towing it with something? You should come to the pre meet at IKEA!

I took the 520 to Blue Lake the first year it was derivable, but the NL320 is way nicer, and I just decided I wasn't towing anything this time, so the U320 is staying at home this time.
