Hello from Oregon

#1

Post by Ofeargall » Fri Dec 13, 2013 3:42 pm

Hello from the Salem area. I work in Eugene and see 2 wagons intermittently in my parking garage. I stopped to see if the guy needed help one day but he gave me the thumbs up so I moved my Subaru wagon on down the road. But, I noticed the decal in the window and thought I would check out this forum.

Here's the truck...

Both wagons, actually… I skulked around the blue one today, checking it out. I'd love to have a wagon for my commute.

It's a 30 foot resto… but I like it just how it is. Not too pretty, nit uptight, fun for the boys to drive, gets comments, doesn't guzzle gas, never dies. Well, except for that one time…

I work downtown by the fountain/Voodoo donuts at an ad agency. AHM Brands. Maybe we can meet us sometime at Wrapcity. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Zach and Levi are a little more active than I am regarding meets. I am usually pretty busy on the weekends.. but I get out once in a while! Meets are always a good time.

Thanks!

Edd, as the truck is called, is a 1968. Looking forward to some good weather so I can drive again. The electrical system is in need of attention. Some mice made a nice nest on top to the fuse block and corroded all the connectors, thus disabling things like wipers, brake lights, heater. Essentially everything but the power to the ignition...

contact izzo, he might have a link to the 520 wiring. If not, I got a 69 521 w/ the J motor that I can take pic's to help you. just ask if you need.

Thanks a million. I'll see how it goes once I get some good weather. I've considered just building a new wiring harness to eliminate any loss to resistance and shorting in the old wires.
