I flipped my overload leaf to the top. Never had an issue except on hard launches.

I'm running on 2" blocks and don't feel it bottom out but I know that my bump stops keep the contact points nice and shiny. I suspect that 3" would be too far on mine without some minor surgery. I prefer not to use blocks (mine came with them) but it did leave me enough room to run a rear sway bar. Some photos here http://nwdatsuns.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=83 if you're interested.

How low did you get out of that?
I've been thinking about cutting my tunnel and welding. I'm looking for a 3 inch or s drop.
I wanna be as low as my last 510

About the same as a 2" block drop...

When the engine vibrates will the valve cover hit your tower brace? If so…

The real concern is the front of the valve cover hitting the hood. Its a L20b, so an extra 3/4 inch taller than L16/18.

I would probably torch the strut bar, and bend it up a bit...

Here's my awesome garage!
ImageImage

So today, I put on my brake mc and i just need to put the hardlines on.
I need to install slave cylinder for the clutch. I don't know what it's called but I'm missing the piece that attaches from the slave cylinder to the throw out bearing arm.

Also, I made a coil mount. I'm gonna see how it works out and I don't see anything bad happening.

I just need the t shape connectors for my dizzy and to put it at tdc still.
Once that's all done, I can just buy some battery wires and then she'll start up :)

I need to figure out where my return lines on my carbs are though.

All I have left to install for her to turn on is the wiring from starter to battery and the coil.

However, I still need to do all the other wiring in the car still but I plan to do that last once the car is working and all.
