Truthfully not much to add since 2007 other than current gas receipts, the brake job, and the struts getting rebuilt, but im definatly adding everything that does happen to it, its part of her history :) I STILL have NOT gone through everything i have for her. All this stuff is in a bike NIKE book bag.

Of course im going to be repping nwd :) I need to take my white sticker off since i got my new blue sticker. My plate frame will hopefully be here thursday before i go to. I also bought this lil jbl speaker from sprint today, loud as fuck bluetooth stereo speaker with bass, fits perfectly on the console of art so i can put it in the glovebox at the show, so i have some music while driving. It holds a 5-10 hour charge, so its just about perfect. She gets a oil change tomorrow morning, hopefully Ed is working at nissan since i feel i dont have to watch him like a hawk with the car, im pretty much all ready to go. Going to bring my extra new carb just in case since her stock carbs been leaking a lil fuel when she sits, just in case something happens with it, better to be prepared. My dad is coming with me to, he got friday off and is excited,we used to go to shasta every year untill 12 years ago, so first time me and him have done a datsun shown / cruise to the show in a LONG time, going to be fun on a bun.

it came with some weird plug in, no usb :( Ive been testing its battery life through the day, its been lasting more like 7 hours. I need to find a usb plug in for it, i already have a adapter for the cig lighter for my iphone that im taking. I tested it on the way to nissan this morning, sounds like i have a kick ass system in the car, hell it sounds better than the systems in any of my cars. And even louder >.<

Got my front end protection on to help protect from rock chips and shit after a 16 hour road trip. Dont normally plan on putting this on art, but it will add some much needed rock protection.

Eh yeah.... I wouldn't run that either, but that's just me. It's gonna get dicked up man, think about it.

They make this other stuff you can put on it, its like a thick vinyl and can be color matched, to put over it. Keeps the rocks from chipping the paint, you're better off doing that then anything! This will be driven for what about 24 hours? That's gonna scuff it even if only a little man :\

Look at what it did over time to your purple car.

We all know the car is super original and art did a good job. But it almost seems like you are bringing it to JCCS just to get some more trophies for his car. Why not take the purple one or catch a ride with your dad

I was thinking the same thing. People generally take a shit load of painters tape and go to town on the front end for long trips. Then pull it off for the show.

Someone mentioned the tape on fb, doesnt leave any residue? I had already taken the bra off, after i posted i was loading more into it, and i noticed it would chafe it to much if it flapped. ALso thats not from the bra on purple, that damage is WHY the bra was always on purple, to cover that shit up LOL.

And i dont care about trophies, or winning, she has 47 1st place wins, nothing to prove. The reason im taking it is because people wanted to see it down there, i was asked by a few to bring it since its never been to jccs, she will have no problems making it down there, the motor is in tip top shape, and she runs and drives great. Plus shes how i even got registered, because people messaged jccs telling about the cars history and why i needed to be found a spot into the show. Its never been to JCCS before, and its original competition with dave and his red 510 thats stock is there, theres to many nice cars there that if i did won, awsome, but im not even holding my breath on getting a award. And izzo, my wife called u a dick LOL. She doesnt know you but she was like what a fucking dick LOL.

Hmm.

Dan, tell you what. If the tape does leave residue. This is the shit man!! Spray it on, wait 30 seconds, wipe it off. I use it to get tape residue off things, sticker glue, etc. Won't harm the paint one bit either. Ammonia free

PS, It came out sounding like an asshole, probably was. Sorry, I don't mean to be. Was no offense meant by it

When you get back you can check into some vinyl from a company called Laminix. Afaik they sell releasable and my coworker that has some on his infiniti swears by it. Maybe they can do custom or something.

So either i had bad gas from chevron, or what i did to the carb last night fixed something. Last night i had it off, sprayed jets with carb cleaner, and then took my air compressor and blew the shit out of every hole on that carb. Put it back on and got her to idle. This morning i put isoheat and 2 gallons from chevron in her. Shook her by hand, and got her to idle again, not struggling as bad. Then i got her to drive, she woudlnt even idle or move before. I even got her up to 60, but shes still not running 100%, so either bad fuel in the system i need to run out, or carb does need a rebuild but i just helped push something with it so it will run.... Im leaning towards fuel, with how fast the issue just happend, im thinking i got very VERY bad gas from chevron, or was sucking something in from the fuel tank since never been ran that low on fuel before. I need to get the carb looked at and adjusted by someone though and see what they think. Just glad shes moving again. It does feel like the more i drive her, the better shes running, so tomorrow im taking her out a few hours.
