Well, shit.

I was told a local yard had a set of Supras.
I sent Kevin down there while I was working.

This is what he brought back...
Image

Keen. Normal cost: $140. Kevin's awesome customer discount: $100.

Dismounted crap tires. Hit them with a pressure washer.
Mounted with a nice set of used 175/65R14 Fakens I had.

Wheels are a little stained, but in great shape.
All 4 wheels balanced out great. Only 1 took a little over 2oz. total. Win!

Fitment is great. Better than I thought they would be.
Need to source some lugs for now then try them on the 210.
From there I can figure out the final size I want to stick with.

So awsome. For lugnuts. Looks like shank style. Localy they are 1.20$ a peice at costless. Usually only have 8 instock. Ive gotten 12 or more sets there. I could probably send you a set with the paper work. Where the door keys under the seat?

Good job getting proper nuts. Most dont get the right diameter shanks.

I work at a Toyota dealership.
Every aluminum wheel is held on with shanked lugnuts.

Just my luck, every one of them is 12x1.50. Tundra being 14x1.50.

Except the FR-S which is 12x1.25. BUT-they do not come with shanks. Normal acorns. FML.

Yea, I know. But did Toyota pull a Nissan, and switch the diameter of the lugnuts? Not the threads, just the shank diameter (down from .73 to .68)

Also, I freaking love the New Tacomas. Easiest thing ever to work on.

Would you feel better if I said I've had it now for 2 weeks?

Or that I just put the thread up yesterday?

If I overheard a woman saying this to another, it would not occur to me they are talking about Datsuns ;)

I'm just glad your rolling parts and your pile of parts are in the same county now. Hope some work happens soon.
