620 Frame & ZX Dash
I picked up a cab and am now searching for a frame to make my mock up out of. If anyone has a disk brake frame they want to get rid of, let me know. Also, if anyone has a shitty '79-'83 280zx dash,in any color, I need one. I don't care if it is ready to fall apart or it already has. I need one. I wo...

Re: Jesters VG 620
Pretty sure Jason ended up with a set of ceramic coated SX manifolds. I will probably go with the Pathy ones just cause they are everywhere. The original color is the light blue metallic. They pulled the original paint decal so I have no number. I REALLY like the 2012/13 Leaf color Planet Blue Metal...

Re: Jesters VG 620
It's funny, most people like it, I just don't care for it. It will be getting resprayed in a color very close the original.

Re: Jesters VG 620
I have a partially gutted 200SX intake that needs to be finished and holes welded shut. Not sure on the exhaust manifolds yet. I may build my own. Torsion bars are going to be replaced with coilovers so I should be able to run anything that bolts up and flows nice. As for the paint, I HATE THIS COLO...

Jesters VG 620
Figured I might as well start this here since I am sporting a NWD sticker on the truck now. Found this little gem in the big town of Mill City for a total of $250. The engine had just been completely rebuilt and needed to have the intake and exhaust bolted on. It had a brand new 32/36, tires and bat...

Re: Any AFX slot car fans, look here
Nice! Is this stuff you are adding to your current setup or are you getting started. I would guess by all the "extras" that you are adding. When my wife and I bought our first house I gave all my AFX goodies to the neighbor boys. Two grocery bags of track, four working controlers, and THREE of the p...

Re: Jacobs goon build
Nicely done Jacob. I am looking forward to doing this in my truck as well. I'm going to try to use the motors and as much wiring from my donor Maxima as possible.
So the Saturn switch must have a detent in the switch to allow the windows to go part way up/down, then a position for full up/down?

Re: Continuing the tradition '79 KC
If the paint code is still on the core support, I would love to know the factory code. That is the original color of my truck and I have no sticker.
Cograts on the truck. I'm sure your son will have a great time getting to know it.

A very sad day for me. I got this new truck and all I can think of is VG.
Glad to see your giving this old girl some love too though.

Dang! That was a lot of reading. Nice job so far. I know the kind of time it takes to make this happen. It is really starting to show and will soon pay off when it's all done. I was kinda bummed when I got to page 12 and you hadn't painted the bed yet. hahaha I wanna see it now! Keep up the good wor...

Re: aluminum rad for a KA24DE swapped 78 620.......
I put an aluminum radiator from a Volvo 240DL in my last truck. Fit was nice with no cutting of the core support. Easy enough to make mounts for it too. As soon as Datsunmike finds my old thread at Ratsun, I'll post some pics and more details for you.

Re: 79KC DD (yeah right)
I know this truck. I live in the town you got it from. I asked the older lady that owned it if it was for sale THREE TIMES!!! She kept telling me no. I go by another day and it's gone..........YOU SUCK!!! Oh well, glad to see it went to someone else who will enjoy it and not to some grandson who wou...
